Hola! Quiero decir algo en español también, pero es muy difícil porque puedo hablar español solo un poquito. No te rías de mi :D Estoy alegre porque he aprendido muchos español! Muchas gracias a mi amigos españoles! :D Hasta luegoooooo!
So finally we have finished exam week and a new period started yayyy! 8) So last week I was just studying (read: trying to study) to the exams and blah, they didn't go so well but anyways they are over now... I also went dancing for the first time in three weeks and oooh it felt soooo good! Missed it a lot. On tuesday we went for house dance lessons to Rotterdam and they were so nice. It's always nice to get new inspiration from other dancers and teachers, especially when they have different style that you are used to do. I was supposed to be studying the whole day but then I just gave up and wanted to go there and forget all the studying. On Friday when the exam week was over we went to Utrecht for Kapelas workshop and that was great! I was waiting for that for so long. After the workshop I took train back to Eindhoven and quickly back to my place, shower and stuff, and then off to party with my friends! Was a great night and on Saturday sleeping almost the whole day. In the evening we went to see Glow Eindhoven (kind of a light festival) in the city. Got some really nice pictures from there :) On Sunday there was World of Dance -event here in Eindhoven in Effenaar. There was a lot of people and what crazy cyphers and battles there were wow! Didn't check the group showcases at all, spend the whole day watching the battles. I didn't participate the battles, but still I enjoyed a lot while dancing in the cyphers and watching other people. I love watching battles and seeing dancers doing epic beatkills, the best! Im so happy that my foot is better now and I can dance again. This week was also quite normal, dancing and studying and partying, as always hahah.
Something about Finnish culture...
I could talk so much about our culture, but I'm gonna just tell you some differences I have noticed and stuff. :)

This video demonstrates quite well one word which describes the Finnish culture and it's called "SISU". You are not able to translate the word "sisu" but it means something like strong will or determination. In Finland people usually say - if someone is for example giving up with something - that you have to keep on going with the Finnish sisu! In finnish it's "suomalaisella sisulla". For me, it's one of the best words in Finnish actually. Wikipedia also says something about "sisu", you can check it out!
One of the most important things in Finnish culture is of course SAUNA. The best creation EVER, for sure. Imagine, it's a warm summer night in Finland and you sit in a sauna, where is one hundred degrees warm. Then you throw water to the hot stones (in Finnish "heittää löylyä", "löyly" means the steam that comes out from there) and you sit there until you cannot stand the heat anymore and you run outside. You run straight to the lake, where the water is so cool and you just enjoy, ahhhh! And in winter, when there's for example -20 degrees and you go rolling naked in the snow from sauna. I really started missing it now! Luckily, I am able to do that in Christmas holidays :D
If talking about Finnish people, people might have the stereotypic picture of us that we are depressed, negative, alcoholized and unsocial. :D Okay, in my opinion if comparing to people coming from other countries, Finnish people are - how to say - quite slow to warm up. We don't do for example small talk. Also, when we meet new people we don't do cheek kisses. Usually we just shake hands if we meet new people, but this depends of course from the people too, not everyone in Finland is like that. At the moment, I don't understand that Finnish way, because now I'm used to hug and give cheek kisses when I meet new people and I cannot imagine just shaking hands or saying only hi. Like wtf :D I think when I go back to Finland people will be confused if I continue giving cheek kisses there hahah. But we are not depressed! But imagine, if the winter is sooo fucking long, cold and dark, it's really no wonder that you don't feel so happy during the winter. For example, I am positive person, but in the winter I just feel more tired and lazy than in the summer, its normal for us. So when the summer comes, we are sooooooo happy!
And what else about Finnish people characteristics, hmmm? Finnish people are very punctual and sometimes its getting almost annoying. If you say to a Finnish person "let's meet at nine o'clock?" it is really nine o'clock, not ten or quarter past. Okay, now I'm generalizing again, but IN GENERAL it is like this. Also a funny fact that just popped into my mind! If you go somewhere by bus and there in the bus is only couple of people sitting, it is funny to confuse people and go sit next to them even though there is more room to sit alone too in the bus. I do this sometimes because when you sit next to someone, you can feel them thinking "why on earth did she sat next to me, even though theres enough place to sit somewhere alone?" :D Lol. Finnish people have quite big personal space. My personal space has gotten smaller and smaller while staying here in Eindhoven and if people come to talk with me and stand very close to me, I don't get confused like earlier. Also, one negative thing that I have noticed but which is actually true and I talked about this with couple of friends from Finland and they agreed with me. Finnish people are more selfish than for example people who come from Mediterranen countries. My opinion again, but this I have noticed.
And YES, there is cold in Finland in the winter. The lowest temperature ever measured in Finland was -51,5'c degrees. Quite cold, isn't it? Luckily theres not always that cold :D I have only experienced -40'c degrees. Actually, I would like to experience also -50 degrees someday! And yes, in -40 degrees we also had to go to school or work, the temperature is no excuse for skipping those. In the winter theres also snow of course in Finland, there can be snow usually from about 20 cm to 90 cm, depends in which part of the country you are. And yes, you can survive in those temperatures, for sure! :D
Finnish nature is also amazing. Its is so funny, because when I was in Finland I didn't think about that so much and didn't enjoy going to nature and stuff. But now, when Im not in Finland I've started missing the nature so much and on Christmas holiday I will go for sure to the northern Lapland in the middle of nowhere, where there is a lot of snow, fucking cold and Northern lights, ahhh 8) When living abroad, you really start to appreciate the things that you have in your home country but not in the country where you are living.
Now I'm just gonna put some pictures here from Finland, enjoy 8) Most of them are just from somewhere in the internet.
